Can You Add a Fomo Referral Code After Sign-Up?
Usually not: Fomo applies a referral code only on the sign-up screen, and the app has no field to add one later. There's one exception. If you signed up through a referral link, such as fomo.family/r/deal, and no referrer was recorded on your account, Fomo support can attach you to that code.
Watch: adding a Fomo referral code after sign-up
The rule, from Fomo's help center
- A referral code is applied on the sign-up screen. There's no field in the app to enter one afterwards.
- If you signed up through someone's link and no referrer was recorded, contact support from inside the app and ask to be attached to that code.
- A referrer that's already recorded can't be removed or changed to a different one.
First, check whether a referrer is already on your account
Look at Fomo's fee line on a standard trade you were making anyway:
- 0.45%: a referral discount is on, so a referrer is recorded. It can't be changed, and you already get Fomo's 10%.
- 0.50%: no referral discount, so no referrer was recorded. If you signed up through fomo.family/r/deal, ask support to attach DEAL.
Small Solana trades can show a minimum fee instead of a percentage, and select major tokens cost 0.05%, so judge by a standard trade of 190 USDC or more. How to read the fee line.
How to ask Fomo support to attach DEAL
- Open the Fomo app and go to your Profile.
- Open Settings, then Help and Support.
- Tap the Contact Support button at the bottom.
- Send a short message, for example the one below.
When support can't add DEAL
- A referrer is already recorded. Fomo's help center says it can't be removed or changed, whichever code it is.
- You didn't sign up through the DEAL link. The help center's exception is for the link you actually signed up through.
Signing in with another Apple ID or Google Account
A Fomo account belongs to the Apple ID or Google Account it was created with. Signing in with a different one doesn't move a code to your account: it creates a separate account.
What DEAL gives once it's on your account
Fomo's 10% off trading fees, so 0.45% per standard trade instead of 0.50%, plus 12.5% of your Fomo fees back in USDC from the DEAL code owner. Together that's an effective fee of 0.39375%. Terms and payout log: Fomo cashback with DEAL.
Not signed up yet?
Then none of this applies: open fomo.family/r/deal before you create the account. The four sign-up steps. For each phone: Fomo app referral code.
- Referral code
- DEAL
- Fomo's discount
- 10% off trading fees: 0.50% becomes 0.45% per trade
- Extra with DEAL
- 12.5% of your Fomo fees back in USDC, paid by the code owner
- When it works

Questions
Can I add a Fomo referral code after I've signed up?
Not yourself: there's no field for it. If you signed up through a referral link and no referrer was recorded, Fomo support can attach you to that code.
Can I change my Fomo referral code?
No. A referrer that's already recorded can't be removed or changed to a different one.
Where do I contact Fomo support?
Inside the app: Profile, then Settings, then Help and Support, then the Contact Support button at the bottom.
How do I know if a referrer is recorded?
Check Fomo's fee line on a standard trade: 0.45% means a referral discount is on, 0.50% means none.
Does signing in with another Google account help?
No. A different Apple ID or Google Account opens a separate Fomo account; it doesn't add a code to yours.
