What does a Fomo app referral code do?
A Fomo app referral code is the username of someone who already uses Fomo. You use it when you create your account, and Fomo lowers your trading fee on every trade from then on. It works the same in the iPhone app, the Android app and the browser, because the code sits on your account, not on your device.
DEAL is one of those usernames. Fomo's part is the same 10% with any referral code. What DEAL adds is on top of that: the DEAL code owner passes back half of the referral share Fomo pays them, which comes to 12.5% of the fees you pay. Details: cashback with DEAL.
Where do you enter the referral code in the Fomo app?
On the sign-up screen, and only there. Fomo's help center says a code is applied on the sign-up screen and the app has no field to enter one afterwards, so you won't find a code box in Settings or on your profile.
That's why the order matters. Open the invite link first, so the code is carried into sign-up. If a referral or invite code box appears, make sure it says DEAL, and type DEAL if it's blank. If no box appears after you came through the link, that's normal.

Buying a token and selling it later are two trades, and each one pays the fee, so the amount you trade adds up quickly.
Those figures are standard trades. On Solana, Fomo covers the network gas. On other networks you pay network fees on top, and they show in your quote before you confirm. Select major tokens cost 0.05%, and small Solana trades have minimum fees: see Fomo fees.

Fomo is already installed. Can you still use the code?
Yes, if you have no account yet. Having the app on your phone doesn't matter. What counts is whether an account exists. Open fomo.family/r/deal first, then open the app and sign up.
If you've used Fomo on that phone before, check which login you used. A Fomo account belongs to the Apple ID or Google Account it was created with, and signing in with a different one creates a separate account. Pick the login you mean to keep.
Can you add a referral code after signing up in the Fomo app?
No. The app has no field to add a code after sign-up. There's one exception: if you signed up through fomo.family/r/deal and no referrer was recorded, Fomo support may be able to attach it. In the app, open Profile, then Settings, then Help and Support, tap Contact Support and ask to be attached to DEAL.

How do you check the code is on your Fomo account?
Read the fee line on a standard trade of 190 USDC or more. Smaller Solana trades can show a minimum fee instead, so they won't tell you much.
- It says 0.45%: a referral code is on your account. Nothing else to do.
- It says 0.50%: no referrer was recorded. See adding a code after sign-up.

Does every Fomo app referral code give the same discount?
Yes, from Fomo's side. Every code is a username, and Fomo's help center names one discount for new users: 10%. A number in a code's name doesn't change that. A code that promises more can only pay the difference itself, so check that the terms are written down. DEAL's extra is the 12.5% cashback, and its terms are on this site.
Is the Fomo app referral code free and safe?
Yes. The code owner's share comes out of the fee Fomo already charges, so it adds nothing on top of your trades. A code only records who invited you: it gives nobody access to your account, your wallet or your login.
Fomo's sign-up has no seed phrase to write down, so never type a private key or seed phrase into a page that offers to apply a code. Install Fomo only from the App Store or Google Play.
How do you find your own referral code in the Fomo app?
Go to your profile, tap the gift icon and copy your code. It's your username, and your link is fomo.family/r/ followed by it. It's there for inviting other people, and you earn 25% of their trading fees when they sign up through it. You can't use it on a second account of your own, because Fomo doesn't allow self-referral.
