Fomo Fees, Line by Line: Where Code DEAL Saves
With code DEAL, Fomo's trading fee is 0.45% instead of 0.50% on a standard spot trade, and the DEAL code owner pays back 12.5% of the Fomo fees you pay, in USDC. The rest of Fomo's fee map depends on the network, the trade size, the token, and whether it's spot or perps. The discount only attaches at sign-up, through fomo.family/r/deal.
The fee map
| Where you trade | Fomo's fee | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Solana, lowest-fee route | 0.10 USDC under 5 USDC; 2% from 5 to 47.50 USDC; 0.95 USDC from 47.50 to 190 USDC; 0.50% from 190 USDC | Fomo covers gas, priority fees and token rent |
| Solana, other routes | 0.50%, with a 0.95 USDC minimum | Same Solana coverage |
| Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum, Arc | 0.50% | Network fees on top, shown in the quote |
| Select major tokens | 0.05% per trade, with a minimum on small trades | The rate is shown on the token page |
| Perps | 0.05% when the position opens and again when it closes | Plus Hyperliquid's fee on the full leveraged position, and hourly funding |
Some tokens also carry their own contract fees, set by their creators. Those are separate from Fomo's fee.
Solana: the route decides
On Solana, the fee depends on the route Fomo uses for that trade, and the route can change from one trade to the next. On the lowest-fee route, small trades pay a flat amount or a higher rate, and the plain percentage only starts at 190 USDC.
Two examples with no code, both on that route:
- A 20 USDC buy falls in the 2% band, so the fee is 0.40 USDC.
- A 100 USDC buy falls in the 47.50 to 190 USDC band, so the fee is a flat 0.95 USDC, close to 1%.
That's why small Solana trades rarely show 0.45% or 0.50% on the fee line. Fomo doesn't say how the referral discount applies to these minimums.
What Solana trades don't add: gas, priority fees and token rent. Token rent is the one-time cost of opening a token account the first time you buy a token. Fomo covers all three on Solana, and only on Solana.
Other networks: two lines on the summary
On Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum and Arc, the fee summary can show two lines. One is Fomo's fee, shown as the rate or the minimum. The other is the network fee, which goes to the network, not to Fomo. If the network fee is a large share of the trade, the app asks you to confirm before it goes ahead.
The quote also shows price impact, which is separate from both fees.
Perps
Fomo charges 0.05% per trade, once at open and once at close. Hyperliquid adds its own fee, worked out on the full leveraged position rather than on the margin you put up. Hourly funding is separate from both. The order screen shows the exact fee before you place the order.
Fomo doesn't say whether the referral discount applies to perps. Perps are also not available to U.S. Persons or to anyone located in the US; see the US page.
Where DEAL's 10% and 12.5% apply
DEAL's offer is 10% Off + Fee Cashback. Here is where each part reaches.
| Fee | Fomo's 10% referral discount | DEAL cashback (12.5% of Fomo's fee) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard rate, 0.50% | Yes: 0.45% | Yes |
| Solana minimums | Fomo doesn't say how | Yes, on the Fomo fee you pay |
| Major tokens, 0.05% | Fomo doesn't say | Yes, on the Fomo fee you pay |
| Perps, Fomo's 0.05% | Fomo doesn't say | Yes |
| Network fees | No, not a Fomo fee | No |
| Hyperliquid's fee and funding | No, not a Fomo fee | No |
| Creator contract fees | No, not a Fomo fee | No |
The cashback is figured only on the fee Fomo itself charges you, on spot and perps, on every Fomo network, Arc included.
Worked numbers: standard spot trades
| Traded | No code (0.50%) | With DEAL (0.45%) | Cashback (12.5%) | Net with DEAL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | $5.00 | $4.50 | $0.56 | $3.94 |
| $10,000 | $50.00 | $45.00 | $5.63 | $39.37 |
| $100,000 | $500.00 | $450.00 | $56.25 | $393.75 |
These are trades at the standard rate, rounded to the cent. Network fees, Solana minimums, perps and creator fees are left out. A buy and a later sell are two trades, and each one has its own fee.
The cashback arrives as USDC in your Fomo account: monthly whatever the amount, and weekly at the weekend once 50 USDC or more is unpaid. Terms: cashback with DEAL.
Check your own fee line
A 0.45% fee line on a standard trade shows a referral discount is on, not which code. The fee check covers what to do if you see 0.50%.

Questions
What is Fomo's standard trading fee?
0.50% per trade. With a referral code it's 0.45% instead of 0.50% on a standard spot trade. Small Solana trades can pay a minimum instead, and networks other than Solana add network fees.
Does Fomo charge gas on Solana?
No. On Solana, Fomo covers gas, priority fees and token rent. On Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum and Arc, you pay network fees, shown in the quote.
Why does a small trade show a fee of 0.95 USDC?
On Solana's lowest-fee route, trades from 47.50 to 190 USDC pay a flat 0.95 USDC. Other Solana routes charge 0.50% with a 0.95 USDC minimum. Fomo doesn't say how the referral discount changes these minimums.
Does the 10% discount apply to perps?
Fomo doesn't say. The DEAL cashback does count Fomo's 0.05% perps fee. Hyperliquid's own fee doesn't count.
Does DEAL give a bigger discount than other codes?
No. Every Fomo referral code gives the same 10% off trading fees. What DEAL adds is the 12.5% cashback, paid by the DEAL code owner.
