Fomo on the Web: Same Account, and Code DEAL Works There Too

Code DEAL works on the Fomo web app too: open fomo.family/r/deal in the browser where you will create the account, then sign up from that page. The web app lives at fomo.family, and logging in with the Apple ID or Google account you use on your phone shows the same account, the same wallet and the same balance. It's also the way in when Fomo isn't in your App Store.

What stays the same

The account follows the login, not the device. Fomo creates two non-custodial wallets for each account, one for Solana and one for EVM networks, and both are tied to the login you signed up with. Log in with that same Apple ID or Google account on the web and on your phone, and you're looking at one account in two places.

The flip side matters. Signing in with a different Apple or Google login creates a new, separate account, with its own wallets. To get back to your own account, use the exact login you signed up with.

When the web app is the better door

The help pages used for this guide don't compare the web app and the phone app feature by feature, so this page doesn't either.

The web isn't a way around Fomo's rules. You must be 18 or older, and Fomo's terms set out the places where Fomo isn't offered. Those terms apply in a browser just as they do in the app.

Signing up on the web with DEAL

  1. Open fomo.family/r/deal in the browser you'll use to create the account.
  2. Create the account from that page, with your Apple ID or Google account.
  3. If a code field shows up, type DEAL.
  4. Later, install the app if you want it, and log in with the same login. The referral belongs to the account, so it comes along.

A referral code counts only at the moment the account is created. Open the link on the same device where you sign up, not on your phone and then the laptop.

Then check one trade you were making anyway. Fomo charges 0.45% instead of 0.50% on a standard spot trade with a referral code. That fee line shows a referral discount is on, not which code. Fee check.

Already have an account? A code can't be added from the web either. If you signed up through a link and no referrer was recorded, contact support: Profile, Settings, Help and Support, Contact Support.

What DEAL adds, on any device

DEAL's offer, 10% Off + Fee Cashback, is tied to the account, not to the screen you trade on. Fomo takes 10% off its trading fees. On top of that, the DEAL code owner pays back 12.5% of the Fomo fees you pay, as USDC in your Fomo account: monthly, or weekly at the weekend once 50 USDC or more is waiting. Details: cashback with DEAL. Moving money in and out: deposits and withdrawals.

Questions

Is the Fomo web app a separate account?

No. Logging in at fomo.family with the same Apple ID or Google account opens the same account, wallet and balance as the phone app.

Can you sign up on the web with code DEAL?

Yes. Open fomo.family/r/deal in the browser first, then create the account from there. Type DEAL if a code field appears.

The web app shows an empty account. Why?

One known cause is a different login. A different Apple ID or Google account creates a separate, new account. Log out and sign in with the exact login you used on your phone.

Does logging out on the web log out the phone too?

No. Logout ends the session on that one device. Fomo has no button to sign out of every device; changing the Apple or Google password is the way to cut off other sessions.

Is the Fomo web app available everywhere?

Fomo is available in most countries, and its terms list where it isn't offered. The web is the route when Fomo isn't in your App Store, not a way around those limits.
