Withdrawing From Fomo: Wallet, Exchange or Bank (Code DEAL Guide)
Withdrawals work the same for every Fomo account, code DEAL or not: tap the three dots next to your cash balance, choose Withdraw, then pick Crypto wallet or Bank account. Bank withdrawals go to US bank accounts only; everywhere else, money leaves as USDC to a wallet or an exchange. Not signed up yet? Open fomo.family/r/deal first, since a code can't be added later.
Three ways out
| Route | Who can use it | What you send |
|---|---|---|
| Crypto wallet | Anyone | USDC, or USDG on Robinhood Chain |
| Exchange | Anyone whose exchange takes USDC on a network Fomo supports | USDC |
| Bank account | Holders of a US bank account, after an identity check the first time | Money from your cash balance to the bank |
To a crypto wallet
- Tap the three dots next to Cash balance, then Withdraw, then Crypto wallet.
- Enter the amount and tap Continue.
- Pick the network: Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain or Arc.
- Paste a receiving address that belongs to that same network and asset.
- Tap Review, check every line, then confirm.
The asset is USDC on every network except Robinhood Chain, where it's USDG. Two networks need a quick check before you pick them. Choose Arc only if the receiving wallet or exchange accepts USDC on Arc. Choose Robinhood Chain only if it accepts USDG on Robinhood Chain.
Every network except Solana has a minimum amount. If you're under it, the app says "Amount too low" and shows the minimum for that network.
A wrong network or a wrong address can mean the money is lost for good. Copy and paste the address rather than typing it, and compare the first and last few characters.
To an exchange
The steps are the same, with one extra job at the start. In your exchange, find its USDC deposit address for a network that Fomo supports. Then choose that exact network in Fomo.
Many exchanges list several networks for USDC. The one you pick at the exchange and the one you pick in Fomo must be identical. If they differ, the money can be lost.
Outside the US, this is the route Fomo points to: send USDC to an exchange that operates in your region. What you can do with it after that depends on the exchange.
To a US bank account
Bank withdrawals only go to US bank accounts. The first one needs identity verification, run by Fomo's partner Spritz:
- A government ID, such as a passport or a driver's license.
- You must be 18 or older.
- Fomo says it doesn't store your documents.
After the check, add your account number and routing number. Then pick a speed:
- Standard: 1 to 3 business days.
- Faster: costs an extra fee. It arrives the same day if you start it between 9 AM and 5 PM ET on a business day; started outside those hours, the app estimates it by the next business day.
Business days leave out weekends and US federal holidays. So a faster withdrawal started on a Friday evening is estimated for Monday, or for Tuesday if Monday is a federal holiday.
Outside the US
There are no bank withdrawals outside the US. Withdraw as crypto instead, to your own wallet or to an exchange that operates in your region. Country notes: the US, the UK, Canada and everywhere else.
Selling before you withdraw
Withdraw sits next to the cash balance. To take a token position out as USDC, sell it first. Two things to know:
- Sell minimums. The minimum sell is 2 USDC on most networks and 5 USDC on Ethereum.
- Hidden small holdings. Holdings under $2 are hidden by default. Tap "Show hidden" in the app, or "Show dust" on the web app, to see them.
Each sale is a trade, so Fomo's trading fee applies, and so does DEAL's 10% Off + Fee Cashback. That's 0.45% instead of 0.50% on a standard spot trade, and the DEAL code owner pays back 12.5% of the Fomo fee as cashback. The withdrawal itself doesn't change the code or the cashback. See Fomo's fees, line by line.

Questions
Can Fomo pay out to a bank account outside the US?
No. Bank withdrawals are for US bank accounts only. Elsewhere, withdraw USDC to a wallet or to an exchange that operates in your region.
Why does the app say "Amount too low"?
The amount is under the minimum for that network. Every network except Solana has one, and the message shows the figure. Raise the amount, or choose Solana if the receiving side accepts USDC on Solana.
How long does a bank withdrawal take?
Standard takes 1 to 3 business days. The faster option costs an extra fee and arrives the same day if started between 9 AM and 5 PM ET on a business day; outside those hours the app estimates it by the next business day.
Does Fomo keep a copy of the ID?
Fomo says it doesn't store the documents. The check is run by its partner Spritz, and it's needed before the first bank withdrawal.
What if the wrong network or address was used?
Fomo warns that it can mean permanent loss. The Review step is the last moment to catch it, so read the network, the asset and the address there before you confirm.
