The Fomo App on iPhone and Android: Download, Sign Up, Use Code DEAL

Fomo is a trading app for iPhone and Android, and it also runs in a browser at fomo.family. To start with code DEAL, open fomo.family/r/deal on your phone first. The page shows "deal", the line "Enter your code in-app to get 10% off fees" and a Download app button. Install from there, sign up with your Apple ID or Google account, and type DEAL if the app asks for a code.

Step by step

1. On the phone you'll trade on, open fomo.family/r/deal.
2. Tap Download app and install Fomo from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Open Fomo and sign up with your Apple ID or Google account. There's no seed phrase and no lengthy check at sign-up.
4. If a code field appears, type DEAL.
5. After your first standard trade, the fee line should read 0.45% instead of 0.50%. How to read it.

What the app sets up for you

• Two wallets: one for Solana and one for EVM chains, both non-custodial. The private keys are yours and can be exported from Settings.
• One cash balance for all seven chains. Chains and fees.
• Your login is your account. If you signed up with an Apple ID, that Apple ID is the account; the same goes for Google. Signing in with a different one creates a new, separate account with its own wallets.

Funding the app

You can deposit with a bank-issued debit card, Apple Pay, or USDC from another wallet or exchange. The Deposit screen shows the methods available to your account and region; if card or Apple Pay isn't listed, it isn't available to you right now. USDC deposits work wherever Fomo is available. Not in your App Store?

Fomo is available in most countries; its terms list where it isn't. If you can't find it in your App Store, use the web app at fomo.family and log in or sign up with the same Apple ID or Google account. For a new account, open fomo.family/r/deal in that browser first. The Fomo web app.

Moving to a new phone

Install Fomo on the new phone and sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you signed up with. Your account, wallets and referral come with the login, not with the device.

Already signed up without a code?

You can still add one until your first trade: if no referrer is recorded and you haven't traded, the app asks for a code when you log in, so type DEAL there. After your first trade a code can't be added. If you opened the DEAL link and no referrer was recorded, Fomo support can attach it: Portfolio tab, gear icon, Help and Support, Contact support.
